Graduate Trainee — Utility and Telecoms Consultant [vacancy filled]

One of Scotland's leading Utility and Telecoms Consultancies, based near Glasgow, is actively seeking a graduate with strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills. Ideally, the candidate will have 1-3 years experience in an analyst or technical customer services position and should be able to demonstrate negotiation skills. An understanding of the energy, water and/or telecoms markets would be useful, but full training in this area will be provided to the successful candidate.

In this varied and challenging role you will be working closely with senior consultants and our client support team, providing reports to our clients throughout the UK. You will be given responsibility for analysing data, writing reports, negotiating with suppliers and making recommendations on major buying decisions to our clients, generally at Director level.

Our clients include Rangers and Celtic Football Clubs, large manufacturers, services companies, charities and educational institutions – a varied and interesting portfolio spanning many business sectors throughout the UK. With energy costs consistently in the news headlines, our energy auditing, procurement and cost management services are increasingly crucial to our clients.
