Renewing telephone systems

The client was unsure of the latest and most effective technology for their business, especially VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology and asked for our assistance. Firstly we thoroughly interviewed the client and her staff to ascertain the features needed. Next, we researched the market and even took staff to see some of these systems in operation. We then compiled a detailed specification and put the job out to tender. We vetted the responses and suggested the best course of action for the client, based on their individual needs.

Over a period of about three years we project managed the replacement of telephone systems and structured cabling in all three of their offices. We achieved savings of over £7,000 at their Glasgow headquarters alone. Now the client has not only saved money but they have systems which will suit their needs for years to come and are fully integrated with their IT systems.

“We have been working with Business Cost Consultants over the last six years and during this time a close business relationship has built up between the companies with Business Cost Consultants learning and understanding our needs and how we work. Not only do they monitor our utilities, they also advise and guide us on future planning of utility needs, especially in the diverse and complicated field of electronic communication.” — Moira Heron (General Manager)
