As utility bills are hitting the roof, a Glasgow company has launched a new product which it claims could knock 60% off the energy costs of Scottish businesses.
The new device, being marketed by Audits Unlimited, consists of sensors that attach to gas, water and electricity meters. They give minute-by-minute details of how much energy is being used, which can then be used to forecast future consumption and identify leaks and wastage.
The device was created by Leeds-based Energy Management Advisory Services (EMAS) and is also on sale in France and the US.
